FIBER ADVANTAGE CONCRETE SYSTEMS (FAC’S)
Concrete utilizing one or more of the components of FAC’s contain fibrous material which impacts various properties of concrete. Added during the mixing process, they are uniformly distributed and randomly oriented to provide three-dimensional performance. Fibers composed of glass, steel, synthetics, and other materials can help reduce plastic shrinkage cracking and bleeding while positively impacting impact, abrasion, and shatter-resistance of concrete.
Ingram Concrete has partnered with Continental Mixers to provide a comprehensive Fiber Advantage Concrete System (FAC’s) for reinforcement that offers a spectrum of fibers to meet the variety of challenges in today’s market – Alkali-Resistant Glass Fibers, Macrosynthetic Polyolefin Fibers, and Polypropylene Fibers.
